Carsten Schmidt & Jens Bredsdorff Carsten Schmidt and Jens Bredsdorff who are both based in Copenhagen, Denmark, met during their years of study at Copenhagen's Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Jens graduated from the department of Architecture in 1978 and Carsten from the department of Industrial Design. 'Wave' was the first project however, in which they have collaborated since then and it was selected for the final shortlist for the furniture category of the 2001 Design Week Awards.
