The latest news from this years NeoCon exhibition
Neocon 2010, saw Allermuir refurbish our permanent showroom on the third floor of the Merchandise Mart to create a platform for several significant product launches. This being supported by a specific brochure that elegantly depicted all products displayed in the showroom.
The focus of the show from an Allermuir brand perspective was the USA launch of Lip.
Designed by LSS Designer, Lip is a truly intelligent design with investment in seven key components providing 34 variants of chair and stool. Simple and elegant multi-purpose seating, Lip takes its name from the distinctively detailed top of the backrest, which features across all of the pieces in this extensive and versatile family of stacking chairs and complimentary bar stools.
Lip will serve all manner of leisure seating and catering projects, plus meeting and conference facilities, as well as schools and corporate installations.
Allermuir will be launching Lip in the UK at this years 100% Design exhibition in September (watch this space for more information)
Generally, at the show, it seemed there were far fewer task chairs than usually but Allermuir US booked the trend by introducing three new task seating ranges to the market.
Fuse, Evolve and Agitus all taken from the Senator UK brand have now been launched into the US under the Allermuir name.
In addition, the Crossover bench was showcased within the showroom, as there are clear signs that the traditional cubical style of space planning that has characterised the work environment in the US in recent years is now being questioned and Crossover with its intelligence and flexibility is absolutely positioned correctly to capitalise on these trends.
All products were truly well received and as visitor numbers on the whole were up there are growing signs that Allermuir has successfully carved itself a niche in the American marketplace.
