Allermuir wins at NeoCon 2019
Allermuir received 3 prestigious Awards at NeoCon, Chicago this month.
Kin by PearsonLLoyd was presented with Best of NeoCon Gold in the Seating: Guest category and Axyl Bench by Benjamin Hubert | LAYER won Best of NeoCon Silver in the Seating: Benches category, along with a Metropolis Likes Award.
Now in its 30th year, the Best of Neocon awards are awarded to honor the best new interior products at NeoCon across 42 different categories. The awards are judged by contract interior designers and architects, and corporate, healthcare, and institutional facilities management executives who are responsible for selecting and buying furniture and furnishings for their specific organizations or clients.
NeoCon is the largest commercial interiors show in the US, and is held each year in June at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago.
The doors to our stunning new creative laboratory and showroom on the 11th floor opened for the first time during NeoCon. Over the 3 days, we created a creative lounge atmosphere with a DJ playing relaxed lounge music paired with a carefully selected drinks menu. Having revealed a new brand identity last year, we retained our youthful and witty perspective – we definitely don’t like to go with the flow and this new space hopes to challenge perceptions.
We launched collaborations with the likes of PearsonLloyd, Mark Gabbertas, Jonas Wagell, Wolfgang C.R. Mezger and Benjamin Hubert as well as collections by our own respected design team.
